In the Thermosiphon system both the hot water storage tank and solar collectors are mounted as one seamless unit on the roof. Here, the smart Thermosiphon design uses natural convection to move water through the system, minimizing energy requirements. Built tough to operate in extreme weather conditions, they are engineered with advanced materials, durable colorbondweather proof outer casing making it look good long after it has been installed. It’s also one of the most aesthetically pleasing systems around, with an asymmetric low impact shape and a choice of vitreous enamel or stainless steel tank. E-Sun's Thermosiphon is flexible enough to meet any needs with a choice of water tank size; either a 180 litre tank, or a generous 300 litre tank for more demanding requirements. A choice of open or closed circuit systems allows use in any temperatures or water conditions. In locations where water quality is good, and ambient temperatures don’t fall below 0°, an open circuit system is ideal. In colder conditions, or where water quality is poor, a closed circuit system works best. The Thermosiphon system is a lightweight, two-piece system that’s easy to mount and uses CFC free thermal insulation to set a new standard in environmentally friendly hot water systems.

SP Collector

The E-Sun SP collector is the only pressed tray collector of its kind on the market today. Designed and manufactured in Europe, it has durable low iron toughened clear glass to increase performance and maximize energy collection from solar radiation. A blue sputtered absorber surface with 10 risers, ultrasonically welded for high thermal contact performance and sealed in a fully pressed aluminum tray, mean absolute performance.

And durable copper absorber and collector tubes along with high density Rock wool insulation ensure optimum efficiency. Like all E-Sun products the SP collector is made to suit all environments, with fully vulcanized weather seals to add protection from both the extremes of snow and high humidity.

BC Collector

The BC collector sets a new standard in collector efficiency, designed to offer premium performance in low radiation areas. In fact, it’s so efficient that a reduced 1.5 m2 version has been developed for high radiation areas where increased performance is not required. The BC collector achieves such levels of performance by using nine copper riser tubes and a copper collector plate with a selective surface of Black Chrome. The fully extruded aluminum collector case and glazing trim add strength as well as aesthetics. While an EPDM rubber seal means, like all E-Sun products, the BC is a highly durable and reliable long life product.

LC Collector

The LC collector has been designed using proven technology, making it the ideal workhorse for high radiation areas. The LC collector has an aluminum absorber plate with a black painted solar surface and six durable copper waterways, while a strong zincalume folded tray and the low iron toughened glass add strength and functionality to this stylish unit. The LC collector panel is a benchmark in reliable, efficient solar heating designed to meet everyday hot water requirements, simply and cost effectively..
